The 2.5 hour tain we took made the old Red Rattlers back in Oz look modern! Although the guide books all said the train station was a 10min walk to the hotel, what the books forgot to mention was that u had to walk up the mountain (with luggage) before u could get to the town!

I can imagine, in 10years time Sighisora will be like what Prague is today! There is a lot of development and restoration going on which when finished will definitely make it a tourist stop - but in the meantime it's very rustic! We were even lucky enough to arrive for the classical music festival, although plagued with another electricity cut we only ended up hearing the first half!
After Sighisora we spent half a day in Brasov to see the Black Church, Piata Sfatului and the Blacksmith's bastion which gave a great view of the city!
Yum, profiteroles with ice cream!!!
